This project involved the construction of a 30,000 s.f. addition and the renovation of an existing 70,000 s.f. elementary school building that serves children in kindergarten through third grade. The addition includes classrooms, an elevator and kitchen/dining facilities. The façade design of the addition integrates the surrounding neighborhood’s large single-family homes with the existing 1950 school building.

This new early childhood center is located on a through-block site and attached to PS 94X. Serving pre-k through grade 3, the 515-seat facility includes 24 classrooms, a multi-purpose room, cafeteria, library, and typical school support and administrative spaces.
